Other details about the Autumn Trek

Proceeds from the Autumn Trek are used to promote bicycle safety and education, bike/pedestrian trail enhancements and interconnected bike/pedestrian routes in the West Central Wisconsin River Valleys. A 1999 Wisconsin DOT grant was awarded to a Troy Park Board Sub-committee (which became 501c3 River Valley Trails) to include bikeway shoulders on S. Glover and Townsvalley Roads in Troy Township. Along with the County Road FF and MM bike shoulder projects, there is a continuous linkup of pedestrian/bicycle trails that connects Hudson and River Falls.
