Croixathlon VII

The 7th Annual CROIXATHLON is a 600-yard open-water swim, 15-mile rolling hill bike, and 3-mile trail run event that serves as a fundraiser for YMCA Camp St. Croix.

Voted one of the Top 5 Races of the Year by Minnesota Triathlon News for the past two years, this event offers an unparalleled venue; the private sandy beach on the banks of the crisp clear Lake St. Croix, a spacious and secure transition area in the heart of the camp, a bike route with pastoral views and rolling hills, and a run on the trails and paths of the stunning St. Croix river bluff property. The Wild River Triathlon Club sets the course in accordance with USAT guidelines.

In addition to beautiful and challenging course, you can expect a supportive atmosphere and homespun charm. The race directors want you to enjoy some of the joy of camp that inspired this race in the first place, so prepare to chuckle and hand out some high-fives.  Croixathlon honors top elite finishers as well as age-group finishers by 5-year increments.  And of course, the most coveted prize will be again be awarded to the male and female who ascend the beach path fastest (the beach path is the 400-yard beach-to-bluff transition trek and a Croixathlon signature feature). This year the Queen and King will receive a cape, a crown and free admission to next year's Croixathlon.

Your registration fee includes a triathlon training clinic in early June offered by the Wild River Tri Club and complimentary race day child care (children ages 4-9) provided by the talented YMCA camp counselors.

Space is limited at the 7th annual Croixathlon, so don't wait for the 7-day weather report to register! Early Bird Discounts apply.
