2012 Swiss Cheese and Spotted Cows
Swiss Cheese & Spotted Cows is a 5-day bicycling tour featuring the best of the driftless area of south central Wisconsin and northern Illinois--an area missed by the glaciers of many years ago resulting in rolling hills, hidden valleys and unspoiled natural beauty. Cycle on quiet, pastoral country lanes dotted with small farms and enjoy the Scandinavian, Swiss and Cornish heritages of the quaint communities we travel to. The rides average 60-65 miles/day on rolling/somewhat hilly terrain, with several rest stop options at local bakeries, chocolate and cheese shops en route! The trip aims to capture the scenery and points of interest of the area. The focus is on FUN and TOURING! Tour is limited to 50 participants
