Aitkin Dump Run

The 27th annual Aitkin Dump Run Quarter Marathon, sponsored by Paulbeck's County Market, takes runners through a scenic course of pavement, gravel road, and a small section of trail. The nostalgic route takes us by the old dump, past "Smilin' Jim's Waterstop", as it comes out of the woods and back to "old 169" and north back to Aitkin. Although some consider it challenging, all consider it rewarding to find themselves crossing the finish line.
