Jenna VanBuren "Too Legit To Quit" Memorial 5K

The Community of Willmar in Coordination with Willmar Fest are proud to kick off the Jenna VanBuren "Too Legit To Quit" Memorial 5K Walk/Run. So get out your running/walking shoes, rollar blades, bikes and scooters (Helmets are required for young ones) and get ready to race with us. This event is geared for all ages and will have numerous prizes for all those who participate.

Proceeds and Donations will go to help fund the Jenna VanBuren Memorial garden in Coordination with the Willmar Fest Queen's Tiara Project and also the Salvation Army MOM program. The Mobile Outreach Meal program strives to ensure all children in the Willmar area are provided healthy and free meals through out the summer as well as activities to those youth.

Make Sure to Register by May 31st for a discounted rate.and to ensure your Participant Goodie Bag and Shirt.

Beginning June 1 all registraion fees will be $25.00 with youth being an exception. We are looking forward seeing you all on race day!

Race Day Registration

Race day registration will begin at 7:30am for all participants at Robbins Island. Come early and enjoy a light breakfast and pick-up your participant gift bag and shirt. There also will be activities before and after the race for all ages, including a memorial balloon release for Jenna and all other loved ones.

Pre-Race meeting to begin at 8:45am.

Race Day Activities

Breakfast, Coffee, Treats, and Water/Pop will all be provided Race day to participants and families.

Fiesta Time will be there with an Inflatable Bouncer and 20' Inflatable Slide for all children!

Sand Volley Ball and Sand Sculpture Contests before after the race!

A Create-A-Balloon station for all participants and families will be available before and, during and after the race. Send a message to a loved one lost before their time and let it lift off into the heavens. The Balloon Release will be held after the race.

Bill Otto as the Race Day DJ!

Other games and activities will also be available. There will be many prizes for all age groups on Race Day!

Awards and Prizes will be handed out in the following categories: Overall Male/Female Participant, Masters (45+) Male/Female, and Top three finishers in the following age groups:10 and under, 11 to 15, 16-30, 31+.
