The Minnesota Skinnyski Series, a seven-course cross country ski event in January and February 2011, is collaborating with ZapEvent, provider of online event registration software, to collect event registrations for its entire ski series. Participants may now register for all seven races at one registration site online.
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) October 26, 2010
The Minnesota Skinnyski Series (MSSS) is combining online registration for seven different nordic ski races into one source using ZapEvent . The races extend from the headwaters of the Mississippi to Uptown in Minneapolis. Instead of registering for all of the races at different times or places, participants can now register for the entire series at one place online.
For a limited time, MSSS Event Directors are organizing their once separate registration and reporting processes into a single online registration destination. Consolidating varying events into one registration system presents several advantages to race directors and their participants. Race directors become exposed to more participants while reducing the associated administrative work and cost. Participants may sign up for the series in one location at one time with no searching, printing, mailing or registration handling fees.
“This new methodology developed by ZapEvent for MSSS delivers a much more innovative system that is less expensive and more efficient for both the athlete and the event director,” stated John Lavelle, MSSS Special Projects.
“Encouraging participants to commit to more than one event is a challenge. Offering an online event series registration through ZapEvent simplifies the process for MSSS participants and encourages them to experience more than their local event. The availability of online registration for series will ideally lead to an increase in numbers for the events within that series,” said Jeff Wedren, President of ZapEvent.
ZapEvent provides a reliable, safe, and flexible set of online registration tools that create a more pleasant and easy-to-use process for both event directors and their customers. Hundreds of organizations rely on ZapEvent’s online event registration management services to oversee the data and transactions for their event registrations, donations, membership dues, and conference fees.
