All of us here at ZapEvent are very excited to have added a new member to our team. As we look forward to some exciting changes and growth in 2012, Mark Bontrager will be taking on the roll of customer service representative and will be assisting all of our event directors with event setup, maintenance and reporting. He will also play an important role in assisting our sales team.
So let’s get to know Mark. Here are a few things he offered to share:
Tell us about yourself:
“I am married to my wife Candace and we have 2 beautiful daughters Emma and Kate (8 & 6 years old). Currently I run my own Home Inspection Business (Legacy Inspection Services) and have been in the contracting/remodeling business for the last 20 years. Coming from a background in running, I wish I would have listened to my friends 10 years ago about getting into triathlons. I am in my second year of competing in triathlons and there is such a positive vibe that exudes from training to race day. I am currently a member of Team in Training and am actively involved in my college lacrosse alumni group. Also I’m a huge Vikings fan. Skol!”
What are you most excited about in working for ZapEvent?
“I want to carry over the passion I have in helping people take better care of their homes into my customer service role at ZapEvent. I get genuine satisfaction from helping others. I feel that ZapEvent has a strong presence in the Race event world and I am going to help make it stronger.”
Random question: If you were able to travel anywhere right now, where would you go and why?
“South Pacific. Just picture the Corona commercial with the 2 people sitting on the Adirondack chairs on a white sandy beach. That would be my wife and me.”
