Events in the Spotlight: The Viking Challenge & Crusade Extreme Wilderness Mud Run

Are you brave enough to try the toughest Wilderness Mud Run Minnesota has to offer? The Viking Challenge & Crusade will test you mentally and physically as you race through woods, meadows, ponds, and hills on either a 5K (challenge) or 10K (crusade) course to complete 13 fun and challenging obstacles. This weekend long event has something for everyone, test your endurance and register for both the 5K challenge and 10k Crusade, bring the entire family to participate in the “Family Run”, or sign your team up for the Mud Volleyball tournament. Stay after the run for live music, food and drink, and a bonfire on Saturday evening. Camping for the weekend is also available on site.
The Viking Challenge is holding their 3rd annual MUD RUN to raise money for Lake Region care and research center and Dough for Joe (Dough4Joe). Here is what race director, Randy Fischer, has to say about his event:
