Our Mission: To introduce kids to a fun way to get fit, be active and learn the value of giving back through racing in a world-class event.
Our Theme: Kids Racing for Kids Who Can't. Hundreds of Minnesota kids are battling cancer and are too sick to race - so you'll do the racing for them. We'll mark your leg with the name of the cancer kid you'll be racing in spirit for. We hope you will also choose to raise pledges for the Miracles of Mitch Foundation to make your race more meaningful.
Event Details
Lake Swim: Stays along sandy beach in water shallow enough so you can always touch bottom. 100 yards is the length of a football field. Practice swimming and set a goal to swim the whole way!
The Bike: Police will close all the roads just for you. Minneapolis course is flat and fast on the city's famous Parkway. Chanhassen course has two uphills and two downhills and more turns.
The Run: Your 3rd and final event of the race. We'll have a water station on the course in case you get thirsty. Practice pacing so you can run the whole way without walking.
The Finish: Huge crowds will cheer you home so finish with a sprint and smile for the cameras. You've raced for a kid who can't so your finisher's medal will be for both of you.
Pricing for multiple children
Individual child registration $40
Multiple child family registration: First child $40, all other children will be $20 each.
