3rd Annual Pedal For The House Charity Bike Ride
August 21, 2010
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Pedal for the House Charity Bike Ride benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison. The event has undergone a name change, but is still the same excellent, well-organized, well-supported ride that you have come to know and trust! This is a wonderful day for the whole family and friends to spend together. The day will be filled with a fantastic bike ride, great fun and great food, all while benefiting an absolutely wonderful cause.
Ride options include the family friendly 10-mile route and the Fun Loop. For the more avid cyclist looking for a hill or two (or three or four) there are the 20, 40 and 60-mile routes. While these routes are very scenic, they are also very challenging and fairly hilly. We've added a new 20-mile route, but don't let the shorter distance fool you. This route packs a punch and has some fantastic hill climbing. We've made some great changes to the 40 and 60-mile routes that we feel you will definitely enjoy!
As a fully supported ride, SAG vehicles are out on the routes if you need them. Well-placed rest stops on each route provide great snacks, sports drinks, and wonderful hosts. At the end of the ride, enjoy a well-earned rest and delicious lunch!
