The 5 for the Y is a run/walk to benefit the Southdale YMCA Y Partners campaign. The Y Partners fund provides financial assistance for Y memberships, sending kids to camp, sports and swimming programs, and daycare or after school programs.
Annually, an average of $400,000 is awarded in grants and scholarships. The YMCA's annual Y Partners campaign raises funds to assist in our mission of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. Your Y Partner contribution will help change the lives of those who most need YMCA programs.

Wheelchairs / Strollers / Walkers
Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome on the run. This a family friendly event and participants of any age are welcome with adult supervision.
Awards and Finishing Celebration
The finish line will be a party for everyone. We will have music, refreshments, ice cream, and special awards. The refreshments will include fruit, sports bars, Great Harvest Race Rolls, bagels, cream cheese, sports drink, hot coffee and water, and Dilly Bars from DQ.
