Come register for the Cub Foods Ribfest Cooking Team contest. This is a fun event that benefits Habitat for Humanity. There are two categories; Non-profit and Business/Group.
 
Entry Fees:
$75 for Ribfest Non-profit Organizations - Saturday 29th, 2017
$100 for Ribfest Business and other Groups (individuals) - Saturday 29th, 2017
$20 for Chicken Wing Challenge - Friday 28th, 2017
 
Information:
- Sign another team and take $15 off your entry fee (Max 1 extra team per business or group for the discount)

- Rib Competition:

   *Maximum of six-person team

   *15’X20’ cooking space and preparation table will be provided

   *Cook by any method: Gas, wood, Charcoal etc.

   *Brainerd Jaycees and Cub Foods will supply each team with ribs   8-12 slabs

   *Rib preparation will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. at Laurel St. between 5th and 6th Downtown Brainerd.

   *Rib teams may begin their set-up at 9:00 a.m. on July 29, 2017 Laurel St., Between 5th and 6th

   *If a team is unable to prepare on Friday, July 28, 2017, the team may prepare on July 29, 2017 

   *All teams must have all meat prepared and cooked by 5:30 p.m. on Saturday July 29, 2017

   *Ribs will be judged by a blind tasters panel and event patrons from 6:00 p.m. until the food is gone on Saturday July 29, 2017

- Chicken Wing Challenge:

   *Friday night we will have a chicken wing cooking contest. The public will judge the best wings; judging is blind and the winner receives 100% of the entry fees. We provide the chicken. Proceeds from the ticket sales also benefit Habitat for Humanity

   *All teams must have all meat prepared and cooked by 6:00 p.m. on Friday July 28, 2017
