The course is in good shape and we'll be running the race! The course will avoid the Prairie Loop but the rest of the trail system looks good. From Zach Varty, race manager: You can get an edge everywhere, nothing is down to glare ice, like it sometimes happens on stony rollers. Conditions are better than the state meet skate course, less icy, believe it or not. Trails are also all flat and wide as I've seen them all year. B skis for debris, but if pressed, you could race on good skis." The race is on! (posted 02/16/18)
Join us and enjoy the snow and the new challenging terrain of Woodland Trails. The 20 km course will take full advantage of the trail system; winding through the hilltop loop, triple hills, up Big Tooth Shoot to Top-of-the-World and back through the city park's trails to start the second loop. The 10 km courses will follow the same path with only one loop. The children's races will stay on the easy terrain of the close loops in the park area making it easy to cheer on your kids! After your race enjoy hot snacks and treats!
